- Is the share link really free?
- Yes. The public read link is included on every plan, free tier included. There’s no paywall on the reader side either — anyone you send the URL to can read your chapter without an account.
- Who can see my shared story?
- Anyone with the URL. The link is automatically created when you create a campaign, and it remains accessible to anyone who has it for the lifetime of the campaign. The URL is non-sequential and difficult to guess, but you should treat anything you publish to a campaign as potentially viewable by anyone who finds the link. The URL may also be indexed by search engines. See our Terms for the full disclosure on public visibility.
- Will readers see my unpublished drafts?
- No. The shared link only reflects your most recently published version of the chapter. Drafts you’re still editing aren’t exposed at the public URL. When you publish a new version, the same shareable link is updated to reflect the latest published content — readers always see your most recent published prose at that URL.
